About

The Master's Degree Programme in Management Engineering of Sapienza University of Rome aims to provide knowledge and develop high-level skills that integrate the technological-design content typical of engineering disciplines with a full understanding of organisations' economic-management aspects of decision-making problems.

To these ends, methods, models and analysis and intervention tools used in managing complex systems, characterised by a high interaction between the evolution of technology, the structure of markets, and companies' competitive strategies, are analysed and discussed.
 

In particular, Management Engineers from Sapienza University of Rome can play an essential role in business strategic and operational decisions based on the ability to use effectively and efficiently the methods of economic analysis, management, optimisation and simulation for the identification, formulation and solution of problems related to the design, organisation and management of goods and services production systems.

Together with the foundational courses common to all curricula, the Master's Degree programme allows the opportunity to take advantage of one of the alternative curricula that flexibly combine the model-quantitative approach of economic-management engineering and operational research with various technological skills typical of the different engineering sectors.
